American Animal Hospital Association
The Fairfield Pet Hospital became Lancaster's only accredited Veterinary Hospital in 1998 and achieved an additional 4 year accreditation in 2002 and three year accreditation in 2006.
We voluntarily sought accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association. This means that we regularly have our practice evaluated by an expert to ensure that we comply with the highest standards in veterinary care. As a pet owner, you can be sure that your pet is receiving the best possible care in our hospital.
Ask us about our AAHA accreditation and how it affects your pet.
AAHA requires that over 600 standards of excellence for quality of veterinary care are met in order to become accredited. Only 14% of veterinary hospitals in the United States have been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association.
